Today's card is July's Club card and it features many new products from the Stampin' UP! catalog. Serene Silhouettes is one of my favorite new stamp sets. The Argyle Textured Impression embossing folder makes is so simple to make a nice background. The ribbon is 7/8" cotton ribbon which will make it's debut in the Holiday Catalog. LOVE it. You can even stamp on it! Color Combo is Wild Wasabi, Always Artichoke and Crumb Cake.

A "Handy" Gift to make and give
At the end of every school year, I make a little "thank you" gift for the school lead secretaries who have supported me throughout the school year. We are talking 30 schools, so it needed to be a quick, easy and inexpensive. Taking advantage of Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual clearance sale and tweaking Dawn Griffith's pattern, I made these for the ladies and they were a huge hit. One can never have too much hand sanitizer. These are super-fast to make. Make extra to have a gift on hand for any occasion.
An 8-1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock will make four holders. The Simply Scored tool makes this extremely easy. Place your "Place Markers" on the 1/2"; 1-1/2"; 3-3/4"; 4-3/4"; 8"; 9" score lines. My quick easy tip for this project is to score first cut second. Score your full sheet (11" side) and then cut the 8-1/2" in half at 4-1/4", then cut the 4-1/4" pieces in half at 2-1/8".

Convention Swap Revisited
Last year I shared this swap card I made for a "WOW" organized swap I was participating in at Convention. I made up extra and kept them, for times I needed a card at the spur of the moment. I recently had an Uncle pass-away. Being that he had a large family the extra cards came in handy to make this Sympathy card. All I did was switch out the verse. I guess all those years spent in Girl Scouts has paid off...Be Prepared!
